Home And Community-Based Services (HCS) & Texas Home Living (TxHmL)
Dignified Residential Services is certified as an HCS & TxHmL provider by the Texas Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC). These programs, designed for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Houston Texas and surrounding areas, provides individualized service to people living in their family’s home, their own homes, or other community settings such as group homes.

HCS Services Include:
Day Habilitation
We proudly partner with Reach Unlimited, a trusted day habilitation program in Texas that empowers adults with IDD through job placement in their on-site greenhouse, vocational training, and Special Olympics activities. With unique learning opportunities, skill-building, and hands-on work experience, Reach helps individuals gain independence and thrive in the community.
Treatment Plans
Our HCS residential services emphasize creating well-documented treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs. These plans guide daily care, behavioral support, and skill development for adults with IDD, ensuring consistency, accountability, and measurable progress. By focusing on detailed documentation and individualized goals, we provide families with peace of mind and residents with a clear path toward independence and long-term success.
Behavioral Support
Our HCS group home services in Texas include specialized behavioral support to help adults with IDD build positive coping skills, manage daily challenges, and thrive in a safe, supportive environment. With individualized care plans, trained staff, and unique learning opportunities, we focus on independence, emotional growth, and long-term stability
Dietary
As part of our HCS group home services in Texas, we provide personalized dietary and nutrition support to promote health, wellness, and independence for adults with IDD. Our staff work closely with each individual to create balanced meal plans, encourage healthy eating habits, and accommodate special dietary needs. By focusing on nutrition education and daily living skills, we help residents build healthier lifestyles and long-term well-being.
Social Work
Our HCS residential services in Texas include dedicated social work support to connect adults with IDD and their families to vital community resources, advocacy, and care coordination. Through individualized service planning, guidance, and ongoing support, our social workers help residents build independence, access opportunities, and achieve long-term stability

Job Placement
Through our partnership with a trusted day habilitation program in Texas, we offer hands-on job placement services for adults with IDD that focus on real- world experience and independence. Individuals can build skills through vocational training and unique opportunities such as working in Kroger. Our goal is to match each person with meaningful employment that supports growth, confidence, and long-term success.

Residential Services
Dignified Residential Services operates Multiple Residential Group Homes throughout the Houston area and surrounding including Cypress, Richmond, and Sugarland, Texas.
​At Dignified Residential Services, we provide compassionate and reliable HCS residential services in Texas designed to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Our group homes offer 24-hour support, personalized care, medication management, and daily living assistance in a warm, family-style environment. Unlike most providers, we focus on more than just housing—we create a true home where residents build life skills, enjoy recreational activities, and participate in community events. With caring staff, individualized support plans, and a commitment to independence, our HCS group home services set us apart as a provider families can trust for quality, safety, and long-term stability.
Each D.R.S group home is personalized from furnishings to style and comfort. Many of the group homes are handicapped accessible, allowing room for ease of mobility and activity. Staff members support each individual with their daily living activities, as well as their personal and health care needs, such as medication administration, medical monitoring, social and recreational activities, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation. Staff assists with the preparation of balanced nutritional meals where specialized diets are accommodated and supervised accordingly.

Host Home Services
Host Home Services can be provided for individuals who seek supported living in the community. In a Host Home, individuals live with an independent care provider who opens their heart and home to them.
A Host Home provider may be an individual, a couple or a family with children. Dignified Residential Services carefully screens Host Home providers, providing both initial and on-going training. Individuals who are seeking a Host Home are also carefully selected based on mutual interests and compatibility with the Host Home family. Both parties then make the final choice as to the relationship.
Host Home providers are compensated for the care they provide at a daily rate, on a monthly basis according to the individuals level of need.
